The Ottawa Gee-Gees men's basketball team will have the comforts of home for their sudden-death playoff game against the Lakehead Thunderwolves on Saturday at 3 p.m.

Last year, the University of Ottawa women's basketball Gee-Gees were surprise Ontario University Athletics East division champions, then got clocked in the Wilson Cup by the OUA West champ Windsor Lancers and were quickly dispatched in the opening round of the Canadian Interuniversity Sports championships.

In Wednesday's OUA West Division final, the University of Windsor Lancers women's basketball team gutted out a 66-61 victory over Western at the St. Denis Centre. The defending OUA champs are now off to Ottawa Saturday to take on the Gee Gees in a 3 p.m championship final.
